Secret Marketing Strategies

Here’s your  daily post of 10 Secret Marketing Strategies to use for any and all types of Online or Offline Marketing: Use these strategies individualy or in any select combinations of your choice to market  your products or services.

11. The “It’s Possible Now” Strategy

The “we live in a time where it’s possible to (your product’s benefit)…” strategy tells your prospects it’s the perfect time to gain their desired benefit because of the resources that are available to us in this day and age. Of course one of those resources would your product. You would relate your product to the type of new features it has; for example, new technology, new materials, new chemicals, etc.

12. The “Left Behind” Strategy

The “tons of people are jumping on the bandwagon, are you being left behind?…” strategy tells your prospects that they could be missing out on an opportunity to reach their goals with your product. You can remind them that they may have already heard about it on TV, in print publications, on the radio or on the Internet.

13. The “Important” Strategy

The “this might be the most important letter you’ll ever read…” strategy tells your prospects that if they don’t read your sales letter, it could negatively affect their life. Many people won’t want to leave your web site without least scanning over your letter. It might just be enough time to persuade them to buy.

14. The “First Things First” Strategy

The “the very first thing you must do before you (your product’s benefit)…” strategy tells your prospects the first step they should take before they try to improve their life. It could be purchasing your product or something they need to do after they own it. You could even tell them if they get the first part wrong it could cost them time, money, emotional distress, etc.

15. The “Heard It All Before” Strategy

The “we have all heard it before (a common saying)…” strategy tells your prospects a statement that will help support your product. You should use one that is widely known in the world or in your targeted niche. It can be powerful because it’s already branded in your prospect’s mind and they likely already believe it.

16. The “Does The Same Thing” Strategy

The “own the low cost, quality alternative that does about the same thing…” strategy tells your prospects that your product does the same thing as your competition’s expensive version. You can tell them that you know many of them couldn’t afford your competition’s version so now they won’t be left out in the cold and can enjoy the same benefits and more.

17. The “Write This Down” Strategy

The “take a few minutes and write down the things you want to change about (something related to your product niche)…” strategy tells your prospects to take a physical action other than just reading your ad. It will actually persuade them on paper to purchase your product. It’s like they are writing your sales letter for you.

18. The “Once In Awhile” Strategy

The “every once in a while something comes along that changes everything…” strategy tells your prospects that your product is going to change the way they are currently gaining their desired benefit. People will buy your product if it makes things easier, less expensive, faster, lighter, effortless, etc.

19. The “No Complaints” Strategy

The “never receive a single complaint again…” strategy tells your prospects that your product will prevent people from complaining about them, putting them down and/or talking behind their back. Most people care about what other people think of them and try to avoid verbal attacks, insults and being gossiped about.

20. The “Every Day” Strategy

The “you likely hear about this every day…” strategy tells your prospects some information they see or hear every day that supports your product. It could be something that’s currently a hot topic in the world or in your niche. You could give them facts to show that it’s true and remind them they will be missing out if they don’t own your product.

William

Secret Marketing Strategies

Here’s your  daily post of 10 Secret Marketing Strategies to use for any and all types of Online or Offline Marketing: Use these strategies individualy or in any select combinations of your choice to market  your products or services

1. The “Hidden Value” Strategy

The “you get an extra $__ in bonuses…” strategy tells your prospects that the total value of your bonus products is a mystery. They will realize that in order to find out the actual value of your bonuses, they will have to purchase your product. You can tell them it will be revealed after they order.

2. The “Confident Sell Out” Strategy

The “this product will definitely sell out…” strategy tells your prospects that you are confident that your product won’t last long. Many people are influenced by confidence. You can show even more of your confidence by telling them the approximate timeframe when your product will sell out.

]3. The “Bombarded” Strategy

The “it’s hard to decide sometimes with so many businesses pulling you in different directions…” strategy tells your prospects that you understand they are getting bombarded with advertisements every day. You just need to tell them you won’t rent, share or sell their name to any other business. It will show them that you are trying to help them cut down on their junk mail and spam.

4. The “No Install” Strategy

The “there’s no software to install…” strategy tells your prospects that your product won’t require any software to use it. Many people, even today, are software- or computer-phobic and don’t want to go through the hassle to gain their desired benefits with products that take complicated software to run.

5. The “Plug It” Strategy

The “it can be customized and you can plug it into…” strategy tells your prospect that they can adjust your product for their own specific needs and benefits. You are also saying that they can easily fit or blend your product into their targeted situation.

6. The “Lock It In” Strategy

The “lock in your one time price now and avoid any monthly fee…” strategy tells your prospects that if they purchase your product now, they will avoid paying an ongoing fee to use it in the future. If they are remotely interested in your product, they’ll likely buy it right away because most people hate reoccurring fees. You could even give them a date when you will switch over your product to a subscription product.

7. The “They All Did” Strategy

The “one person (your product’s benefit), another person (your product’s benefit), this person (your product’s benefit)…” strategy gives your prospects specific examples of people that have benefited from your product. You could present them as customer success stories or short little benefit bullets in your sales letter. You could even add their actual testimonials.

8. The “Personal Partner” Strategy

The “as a bonus, become one of my personal JV partners…” strategy tells your prospects that if they purchase your product, they can also promote your product. You could give your customers a higher commission rate than your free affiliates, just like you would your top personal JV partners. You could even tell them how many JV partners you have and the reputable names that are involved.

9. The “Lying Down” Strategy

The “when you’re lying in bed tonight and staring at the ceiling imagine…” strategy tells your prospects to imagine the benefits of your product. Most people won’t purchase the first time they see your ad so this helps persuade them to buy later when they’re not viewing your ad.

10. The “By Yourself” Strategy

The “why would you try to do it yourself when you can get (your product)…” strategy tells your prospects to question why they would try to gain their desired benefit by themselves. You just need to convince them how much harder it would be without your product’s help.

Use eBay to Build Your List

There is an adage in Internet Marketing: The money is in the list. For that reason, it is very important to grow your list as large as possible. In fact, it should be an ongoing and never ending project for your business, since you will doubtless encounter attrition as you lose subscribers. There are many ways to build your list. Article marketing, blogging and pay-per-click advertising are all examples of effective list building methods. Those methods are beyond the scope of this article, however. Instead, this article is about using eBay as a resource to tap into to grow your list, naturally and inexpensively. With about 8 million visitors per day and over 200 million registered users, eBay is a great potential source for traffic that can help you grow your list.

There are two methods eBay can be used to grow your list. The first is to create and sell small reports or ebooks using the buy it now auction format. The minimum price you can set and still sell multiple items is $.99, so you are practically giving away these reports or ebooks that contain useful information. In these ebooks or reports you can place your links to a squeeze page for your list. The information in these reports should be informative, but should also entice the reader into wanting more and sign up for your list. You can specify that the purchaser can give away the report or ebook, but they can not alter the content. This may result in getting more sign ups in the long term. The point of selling your report is not to make money, but to grow your list. Since the insertion and selling fees on eBay are relatively low, this can be a very cost effective way to get sign ups to your list and if you sell enough reports or ebooks, you may turn a small profit while simultaneously growing your list.

The second way eBay can help grow you list is through the use the classified ad format. This ad format is often overlooked by many on eBay, but it is a simple and very cost effective method you can use to grow your list. The classified ad is set up similarly to a standard auction. The major difference is the ad will run for 30 days instead of the 3, 7 and 10 days that standard auctions run. The title is subject to the eBay search engine just like auctions, so it’s very important to optimize your ad title. Since HTML can be used here , you can paste a squeeze page that contains a opt-in form in your ad. The insertion fee for a classified ad is $9.95 for 30 days. If you purchase a Pro Pack for your classified ad, it will cost more, but it works out to a little over a dollar a day. By comparison, buying a Pro Pack for a 7 day auction would be about 4 dollars a day. Using the classified ad format can be a very cost effective method to grow your list.

There are doubtless other ways to use eBay as a list building tool, but these two methods are effective and far less expensive that using par-per-click advertising or purchasing leads and may result in a small profit or enough income to cover your eBay fees.

William

Four Ways To Use Niche Marketing

Niche marketing is being used a lot by businesses to help them succeed in the over crowded Internet marketplace. The Internet has allowed for business start up being easy and makes running an online business almost automatic. This means there is even more competition than ever for customers.

Niche marketing solves that problem. It is a way to focus your attention on a single group of customers that is most likely to buy your product or service. This group is going to be the most loyal and they will make up your biggest profit base.

Once you have done your research and defined your target niche market you have to learn how to use it to your advantage to make your business successful. Here are four ways you can use niche marketing to boost your earning potential.

1. Advertise where your niche market is most likely to look. A niche market is going to be people with similar backgrounds, ideas and interests. It shouldn’t be too hard to define some places where your niche market is most likely to frequent.

2. Say the right thing. You have to talk to your niche market the way that they talk. For example, if your niche market is a teenager, then use some teenage lingo and speak to them in a way that they will understand. Do not talk down to your niche market, but rather go to them on the same level and communicate with them. If you need help find someone in your target niche and ask him or her for his or her opinion.

3. Make sure you are addressing a unique need. You want to stand out from your competition and address a need that nobody else is addressing. You may have to do a little market research to find out what people want that they are not getting from the current products or services that are already available to them. But it will be well worth your time.

4. Make sure the price is right. The whole point of finding your niche market is so that you can cater to their needs. One of the most important things you can do is to make sure that the price you set for your product is one that your niche can afford. If you are selling something to a niche market that is in a medium income bracket then you don’t want to price your product for those that are in a higher income bracket or you will lose sales.

Making the most of your niche marketing efforts is essential. There is no point in using niche marketing if you are not going to take all the necessary steps to ensure you are using it right. Niche marketing can be very successful if you do everything you can to ensure you are taking full advantage of it. Once you find a hungry niche market you will discover that it was well worth all of your time and efforts.

William

How to have Success with Affiliate Marketing

Internet marketing has blown up in the past few years with more and more people looking to work from home. There are thousands of opportunities and ways to make money online, including affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing has been around for quite some time and continues to hold strong. But have you had success with it?

Millions of people try affiliate marketing at some point in time, but many quit after a few weeks of no success. Just as with any home business, you have to be patient and give it time. But there are some things you can do to set yourself up for success.

The first tip to have success is finding a program that you are interested in. The great thing about internet marketing is that there are so many opportunities available, giving you the chance to find something you enjoy. Everything is much easier if you have passion in it because you will be more willing to put in the extra hours to promote the program.

Next, find a program that is correlated to your website in some way. It is extremely difficult to have success with affiliate marketing if you affiliate links of gardening sites on your car website. Take the time to find a program that is related to your site and will benefit you. It will take a load off your back if you can offer your visitors what they are looking for.

The fact that there is thousands of affiliate programs to choose from allows you to look for programs that pay well. You want to find a program that is related to your website and pays at least 35% to 40% residual income. There are some programs that pay as high as 70%, but 40% residual income will allow you to make a decent amount of money. There is no sense in placing a link on your site that pays nothing.

Lastly, make sure there is a way for you to view your statistics. Statistics say everything when it comes to the king of success you are having. Every affiliate program should have some kind of page that allows you to look at your statistics while you are working for them 24 hours a day. The internet never sleeps, so why should your affiliate program?

There is great potential for affiliate marketing if you take the time to find a legitimate program. Accommodating an affiliate program with your home business is a great way to branch out and income flowing in multiple directions. If you follow the tips listed above, you can have success with affiliate marketing.

William

Finding a Niche

What is a Niche?

Everywhere you go online, you hear the same thing - You must find a niche for your business. If you are new to Internet Marketing, this is advice you will do well to pay heed to.

Every day thousands more people come online in search of wealth. Many jump right into the markets that are already completely saturated and then wonder why they are not making any money.

Given unlimited time, money and patience, they might succeed. For those that do not have unlimited supplies of these precious resources, aiming for a smaller niche market can be a much smarter way to start your online business.

If you want the long answer, you can buy any one of the thousands of e-books being sold online about niche markets. You can go to a dictionary and see what definition of niche it gives. But the short answer is niche simply means distinct or individual.

Everyone and their brother wants to start a business focusing on Internet Marketing. This is how the big guns are making all their money, so it must be the way to go. That is the problem. The market is totally saturated with people who have years of experience in this area. A new person trying to compete in such a broad market does not have much chance of success.

Definition of Internet Marketing is: “The strategies that are used to market a product or service online, marketing strategies that include search engine optimization and search engine submission, copywriting that encourages site visitors to take action, web site design strategies, online promotions, reciprocal linking, and email marketing”. A new person coming online to start a business has little chance of knowing enough about all the above areas to be able to compete in this market.

So how is a new person to have any chance at success?

Think Smaller - Think Niche!

Just from the above definition you can come up with the following strategies or niches:

Marketing
Search Engine Optimization
Copywriting
Web Site Design
Promotion
Linking
Email Marketing

Even if you are lucky and are extremely experienced already in one of the above niches, you will still have a lot of competition in such broad niches. This may be what you decide to do in the end, but at least be willing to explore niches within the broader areas. You may find a niche you are much better suited to.

When it comes to finding a niche market, the best resource available online is Wordtracker. You can find pieces of this program on different sites and software programs but Wordtracker brings everything together in one place for those trying to find a good niche to go into.

Using Wordtracker is a breeze. If you want to break Internet Marketing down to many more niche markets, just type in Internet Marketing and look at all the ideas that pop up. Each of these can become keywords that you decide you want to focus your niche on. Or you can pop in those keywords and keep defining your niche.

Using Wordtracker, what you will end with is a list of niche keywords that you can focus your Internet business on. Having a smaller niche will give you a much better shot at being successful then trying to build a site around a broad topic like Internet Marketing.

Remember, success in any business always comes back to supplying a product that the public has a demand for and that the market has room for. Find the right niche and you are on the right path.

William

List Building

Creating and growing your email list is a must for any long-term successful affiliate business. An email list will keep your site visitors informed and engaged. You can use your list to share articles, tips and even promote your affiliate links, while building loyalty, word of mouth advertising and repeat visitors to your site. By integrating a mailing list subscription form on your site you can re-market to these visitors and later convert visitors that did not decide to buy on their first visit into sales.  It is important that you follow all email Spam laws and not email too frequently and  annoy your readers.

Marketing Affiliate Products

When you become an affiliate for a program, you become a third party of  the particular business that you have joined, but at the same time you are also a member.

The beauty of affiliate programs is that you can have products from a wide variety of vendors without having to create them yourself or stock them. You do not need to
carry an inventory or handle any of the delivery problems.

All you have to do is to send people to the program and let them handle the sale, money
collection, delivery etc. For this you will receive a commission that can vary from about  3% to 75% depending on the product.

If you are looking to sell physical products you can use services like Amazon, Commission Junction, Linkshare or many others. Most physical products can pay anywhere between 3% and 10%.

If you are looking to sell digital products, there are literally thousands of products available online for you to choose from. Clickbank and Paydotcom are two of the largest programs which will allow you to sell other people’s digital products.

Internet Marketing For Beginners

I just finished reading a great report by Lee McIntyre titled 6 Months of Magic. This report was about how he started out in Internet marketing with out a mailing list, no JV partners and became successful in 6 months time. He has the phylosophy of don’t just try selling to your customers, but instead develope a relationship with them by giving away valuable content through free reports and ebooks. Once you gain their trust and they see you as an authority on the subject/niche they are interested in, sales will come more easily because they value your expertise. I can truly relate to Lee’s business phylosophy, because there are certain marketers that i prefer because of the way they treat their subscribers. I believe a marketers true sense of helping their subscibers by over delivering on their purchase, and providing additional valuable content reports or ebooks for free tells us they put their contacts above all else. I you agree or disagree with this business phylosophy, please leave a post. If you would like to read the book 6 Months of Magic please check out Lee’s blog under my recommendations,

William
