Secret Marketing Strategies

Here’s 10 Secret Marketing Strategies to use for any and all types of Online or Offline Marketing: Use these strategies individualy or in any select combinations of your choice to market  your products or services.

21. The “Through The Wringer” Strategy

The “the (no.) (months/years) of testing, experimenting, tweaking and collecting case studies are finally done…” strategy tells your prospects that your product has been put through the wringer and is finally ready for release. You could tell them you hired a whole research team (if true) to develop the product and even tell them how much it cost you.

22. The “Future Release Bonus” Strategy

The “purchase through my affiliate link and I’ll give you my (your product’s name) which will cost ($) when it’s released on (date)…” strategy tells your prospects they will get a future product that will cost more (if true) than what they will be paying for your affiliate product. It’s a real bargain, they are getting more for spending less.

23. The “Spill The Beans” Strategy

The “I didn’t want to reveal that much but (the interviewer’s name) squeezed all my secrets out of me…” strategy tells your prospects that they should read or listen to the interview you did because you accidentally released closely guarded information. Of course, you could try to sell them your product at the end of the interview.

24. The “Meet In Person” Strategy

The “let’s meet in person…” strategy tells your prospects that you want to talk to them live, in person. If that is the subject of your e-mail, they will be interested in why because the Internet is usually so impersonal in nature and they wouldn’t get that many offers. You could invite them to a seminar, a mastermind group, a workshop, even for dinner, etc.

25. The “Negotiation” Strategy

The “after hours of negotiating I finally talked (business person’s name) into giving you a special deal…” strategy tells your prospects you gave up a lot of your personal time to get them a discount. They will appreciate that and likely respond to the time you gave up to save them some money.

26. The “Sell And Profit All” Strategy

The “the highest earning affiliate from the month of (the month) will receive 100% of their sales, instead of the normal (no.%) commission…” strategy tells your prospects that if they win your affiliate contest, they can keep all the profits. You could even offer higher than normal commission levels to people who come in second and third place.

27. The “Going To Lose” Strategy

The “you are about to lose ($)…” strategy tells your prospects that you are about to raise the price of your product. If they were interested in buying it later on and they wait, they will actually lose money. You could also tell them exactly how many (hours/days) they have until you raise the price.

28. The “We’ll Pay You” Strategy

The “we’ll pay you ($) if you don’t (your product’s benefit)…” strategy tells your prospects  that you’ll pay them money if they don’t gain their desired benefit with your product. You can  tell them you are taking all the risk since you are giving them money rather than their  investment back, and they can even keep the product. You can even tell them even if the product  is damaged they will still get your guarantee. To protect yourself, tell them they first need to  prove they used your product to the fullest before they get the guarantee.

29. The “Huge Favor” Strategy

The “I need a huge favor…” strategy tells your prospects that you have a special request that they could help you with. Most people are open to doing small favors for people, especially if they already like or respect you. You could ask them favors that could actually make you money, like visit your web site to see how you could improve it or review you free viral e-book and see if it reads well, etc.

30. The “Later On” Strategy

The “new bonuses will be added on (dates and times)…” strategy tells your prospects that you will being adding even more bonuses to your product on specific future dates. It will either persuade people to buy now or make them keep coming back to check out the new bonuses till it finally persuades them to buy. You could add more curiosity by giving them juicy hints or clues about your upcoming bonuses. It will just keep getting more and more tempting for them to buy.

Starting an Online Business - Affiliate Programs Make it Easy

If you have been longing to start a business online you may be coming across terms you’ve never heard before. You may also have found the opportunities available are overwhelming. Where do you begin?

AFFILIATE PROGRAMS - EASY START

Affiliate programs may be the easiest online business to start running. Why?

With any online business you must have a product or service to sell. First you must create this product or service and then you must be able to fill orders.

Selling your own product or service also means creating a website, learning how to write ad copy, setting up a marketing plan, being able to accept payments online and obviously doing the work. If you’re selling a physical product then you will need to make or buy the item, package it and pay for shipping costs. If you provide a service than you will likely have to start by doing free jobs to build your credibility and then when you are charging for your service you are still limited by how much work you can actually handle.

THE MAGIC OF AFFILIATE PROGRAMS

Affiliate programs are a great way to get started in an online business. In fact there are even some ‘Super Affiliates’ who are making fabulous incomes from affiliate programs. So, what ARE affiliate programs?

Affiliate programs allow you to sell another company’s service or product and make a commission on every sale or lead. You do not even need to build a website or handle the transaction. Your job is to drive traffic (customers) to your affiliate link.

An affiliate link is a special URL code that will identify customers coming to the company’s site from your advertising. It will likely be the website address with a code attached to the end.

Some affiliate programs also have tiers. That means if someone who is interested in SELLING the product comes through your link and signs up you will also get a small percentage of THEIR earnings.

HOW DO I CHOOSE A PROGRAM?

You should research the popularity of some of your interests. Try to determine if people are buying that product or service online. There are many sources for finding that information including free ones such as the Overture keyword tool.

When you have found an area that is popular then type the subject along with ‘affiliate program’ into your search engine and see which programs have services or products for that area. You can also use an affiliate program directory.

When you have found a program that looks interesting you should read the terms of the program. Make sure that payouts are not based on a high commission earning or you may never see your money. Also try to choose programs with high commission rates. Often you will find ebooks and downloadable software has the highest rates as there is no physical product to make or ship. If you are satisfied with the terms then you need to sign up - usually a simple process.

START MARKETING

The reason affiliate programs are so great for beginners is that you only need to focus on marketing - not making - your product.

Many affiliate programs have information on how to market and give you tools such as banners, product feeds and more. You can also look for other information on marketing including writing articles, creating pay-per-click campaigns, commenting in online forums etc. As you gain experience marketing you will make adjustments to your selling and start creating a wonderful income!

Making Money through Product Resell Rights

Resell rights come in many forms and sizes. They can come in large packages with many products bundled together and offered for an almost suspiciously low price. Or they can be offered on a single product for a four-figure sum. There are also different types of rights offered allowing you to do different things.

Basic resell rights only give you the right to sell the product. You cannot claim the product is your own and you do not have permission to offer the resell rights to anyone else. Basic resell rights are usually the cheapest, so it may be easier to make a profit. Check the terms for how much you can charge for the product or if it can be given away, perhaps as a bonus with something else.

There may also be conditions for distributing the product from membership and auction sites. If you are buying rights to software make sure you know the product well enough to deal with any troubleshooting enquiries. Some software rights sellers are prepared to deal with enquiries themselves. The product may also come with a web sales page that you can use, but check for any restrictions.

Master resell rights often include a web page with the product. They give you the right to sell the product and you can also pass on this right to your customers. However that is as far as it goes. Your customers cannot give the resell rights for the product to their customers. The best master resell rights packages will include a zip file containing everything you need to put on your download page.

There are two types of resell rights that may be referred to as private label rights. One type is where you are given the resell rights for a finished product and you are also allowed to put your name on the product as the author. This type of product is a ready-to-sell information or software product. You cannot change it other than put your name on it.
The second type of private label rights is also known as source code rights. The product is not a finished ready-to-sell item. Instead it will be the raw source material that you can use to produce a finished item. Programs will be in the source code format; information products will be in a word processor format, like MS Word.

You can change the product in any way you want. You can add your name as author, add more content, omit parts or split it into several products. You may also be able to sell resell rights and even master resell rights. Terms and conditions should be posted, so check them carefully. Most private label rights packages also come with a web page and graphics that you can use for selling.

If you have found a resell rights product that you think you can sell you need to do some basic market research before purchasing. How many people are searching for this type of product? How many competing products are there? Have you seen the product available elsewhere?

If you are going to sell on the internet you need to have access to the following skills. You must be able to edit web pages, create payment links and upload the product and web pages to a server. If you are buying private label rights you must also be able to edit the product. This is especially important if you are buying rights for software.

There are many ways you can sell products on the internet. You can usually set up your own website or add the sales page to your existing site. You could invest in pay per click ads or ezine ads. You could write articles. If you have private label rights to a book you can use some of the content to produce articles or even a free report for viral marketing.

Resell rights offer the advantage of not having to produce your own material. However, you need to be sure the product is good quality and that you have a good marketing plan.

William

Affiliate Marketing - Does it Really Pay?

Affiliate marketing’s been a staple of the internet marketing scene for many years now. It’s highly touted as a money maker for newbies and experienced marketers alike. But does it really pay to be an affiliate marketer? Let’s take a look to learn more…

Basically affiliate marketing’s an agreement between a web site owner and a merchant. The web site owner’s actually an advertiser for the merchant or product creator. The agreement is a contract between the two parties that stipulates that the site owner can use various methods including the space on his site to promote the merchants goods. The merchant meanwhile agrees to pay a percentage of each sale generated through the affiliates personalized link.

This benefits both sides because the product creator spends nothing to advertise their goods and the affiliate pays nothing to research and develop new products.

This creates a win-win situation.

The product creator wins by saving money on advertising, which is one of the most costly aspects of doing business, by passing this cost on to affiliates. Basically it’s a pay-per-performance deal because the merchant doesn’t accrue any costs until the sale’s made and the merchant pays the specified commission.

The affiliate marketer wins by being able to sell an already developed product, thus saving the time and money on the front end by not having to deal with R&D and product creation. The product is already developed and proven by the merchant, and all you have to do as an affiliate is find as many prospects as you can that will bring in the profit for both the merchant and yourself.

Another benefit to the affiliate is that most programs are free to join and have pre-made sales material so your marketing experience doesn’t have to be that of an expert.

Probably the biggest benefit to being an affiliate marketer on the internet’s the internet itself.

Because of the global reach of the internet it’s very easy to reach tens of thousands of prospects for almost any type of product line. It’s also very easy to intensify your efforts as an affiliate marketer to exploit new and productive strategies such as viral marketing, ebooks, special reports and autoresponders.

Lastly, as an affiliate marketer you get to pick and choose between many different products to promote. You’re not married to a specific product or even a specific product type. Your risks are minimal because there are no long term binding contracts so if one product doesn’t bring in a profit you can quickly and easily replace it with another.

All in all affiliate marketing’s still an excellent way to earn income from the internet. Perform your due diligence, find a hungry market, find a good product and go for it!

William

Secret Marketing Strategies

Here’s your  daily post of 10 Secret Marketing Strategies to use for any and all types of Online or Offline Marketing: Use these strategies individualy or in any select combinations of your choice to market  your products or services.

41. The “Heard This Before?” Strategy

The “you haven’t heard this before and will likely never

hear it again…” strategy tells your prospects that if

they don’t read your message now, they may never see it

ever again. People like new information and hate to miss

out on stuff that could improve their life.

42. The “Misprint” Strategy

The “that’s not a misprint…” strategy tells your

prospects that your statement or product may sound

unbelievable but it’s not a typo. Sometimes people think

something is so unbelievable it must be a publishing

mistake. Bringing this up will help remove those thoughts

from their mind.

43. The “Make It Longer” Strategy

The “get more for your money and upgrade your membership

length…” strategy tells your prospects  that if they

purchase a longer subscription to your membership site

now it will be cheaper in the  long run. For example, you

could say your monthly fee is $10 and your yearly fee is

$100, so they  would save $20. You could even tell them

if they decide to upgrade to a 1 year membership later

on it will be $10 more which is $110. It will create a

sense of urgency to upgrade to a yearly  subscription

now.

44. The “Official Launch” Strategy

The “(no.) hours/days/weeks till the official launch…”

strategy tells your prospects to prepare to purchase your

product when it launches. They will have time to clear

their schedule, save money, promote it to their own

prospects (if you have an affiliate program) and reminds

them that you will e-mail them on a certain date and

time.

45. The “I’m Surprised!” Strategy

The “I’m surprised but there are a few copies left…”

strategy tells your prospects that you are shocked that

your limited product sale didn’t sell out. You can even

tell them that you’re only hours or days into the sale

and you figured that by now it would be gone. People that

thought they may have lost out on purchasing a copy will

likely rush over and finally decide to buy.

46. The “Call Me” Strategy

The “can you call me tomorrow?…” strategy tells your

prospects that your message could be personal and they

will read or listen to it quicker. You could just be

referring to your free teleconference you’ll be holding.

You can just invite them and give them a persuasive

reason to register for the call.

47. The “If You’re Like Me” Strategy

The “if you’re like me, I’m too lazy, busy and tired to

(your product’s benefit)…” strategy tells your

prospects that you feel the same way they do when it

comes to improving their life. You can explain to them

how your product will gain their desired benefit with

little or no effort from them.

48. The “O.T.O. Buzz” Strategy

The “check out the testimonials of our O.T.O. (one time

offer)…” strategy tells your prospects on your first

web page they will see a O.T.O. (one time offer) on your

second page. By showing them testimonials before they see

your ad, they will want to see what all the fuss is

about.

49. The “Won’t Believe It” Strategy

The “I didn’t believe it, and I know you won’t either…”

strategy tells your prospects that you know they won’t

believe your product’s claims because when you first saw

the product’s ad, you didn’t either. This will eliminate

them not believing your product claims because you

already brought it up and they may want to prove you

wrong.

50. The “Years Into Minutes” Strategy

The “what took us (no.) (months/years) to develop you can

have in minutes…” strategy tells your prospects that it

would take them months or years if they tried to gain

their desired benefit by themselves. Most people want to

save time and would opt for the ‘few minutes’ idea.

William

32. The “Membership Perks” Strategy

The “you can get a free month on my membership web site if you purchase through my affiliate link…” strategy tells your prospects and current paid members they can save some money if they purchase a targeted affiliate product through your link. The “if you already own our product and haven’t used it to (your product’s benefit), then I know what’s stopping you…” strategy tells your prospects and/or current customers that they just need motivation and guidance. The “thanks for your support and agreement…” strategy tells your prospects that tons of your customers stand up for how you do business. Sometimes as marketers, you get flamed by your customers, prospects or competition about how you do business and most of the time it’s a misunderstanding. You can tell your list about these situations and explain your point and most of the time, if it’s valid, they will e-mail you to show their support for you.

37. The “Tell Me A Story” Strategy

The “can I have your success story?…” strategy tells your prospects and/or current customers that you need testimonials or letters about the success they had with your product or advice you gave them. 38. The “Part 2″ Strategy

The “here is Part 2 of…” strategy tells your prospects they’ve either already read Part 1 of your message or missed Part 1 and need to see what it’s all about. This helps people that don’t read your messages every time to get interested because it will be a mystery to them. You could have a copy of your Part 1 message underneath Part 2 for people that want to see what they missed.

39. The “My Stats Say” Strategy

The “according to my stats, only (no.)% of the readers have seen this…” strategy tells your prospects it must be really good if you are telling them about it again and watching your ad stats that closely. You can tell them you don’t want them to miss it because it can really improve their life. It sounds like you really want to help them.

40. The “Keeping A Secret” Strategy

The “I’ve been keeping something to myself for a long time…” strategy tells your prospects that you have been keeping a secret to yourself. You could tell them it’s about an exciting product you’re getting ready to release and you can’t keep it to yourself any more. People will want to see what would be worth so much that you couldn’t tell them before about it.

Are You Passionate About your Internet Marketing

Internet Marketing offers many benefits that traditional employment does not including the ability to set your own hours, an unlimited stream of income, the flexibility of choosing a niche that you are passionate about, and the opportunity to help others.

By virtue of the fact that a large portion of Internet Marketing revolves around the sale of information products, the opportunity to help others is by far the strongest draw that online ventures provide. Not only is the marketing professional able to make hundreds, if not thousands of dollars by pursuing their passion, in the process they are contributing to the education or training of others at the same time.

There are very few careers that afford the instant gratification this arrangement provides. Many traditional jobs provide an education or service, but the end result or the consumer that acquires the benefit is so far removed from the supply chain, that the employee never gets to see first hand the difference they are making in someone else’s life.

On the other hand, an Internet Marketing professional many times will not only see first hand the difference they are making, they are directly involved in the process while it is evolving. This is a very strong draw for those who seek and gain their gratification from helping others.

Because the claims of making an overnight fortune are so plentiful, it is often believed that it is the financial gain that drives online entrepreneurs. And while that is certainly one of the overwhelming benefits to online opportunities, more often than not you will see the people making the most money are the ones that are the most passionate about what they are doing.

This passion is what will stand the test of time. There are plenty of online marketing opportunities that fade into the background as fast as they originally appeared, but someone who puts their heart and soul into every aspect of their product or service almost always backs the ones that have the greatest longevity.

This model is one that does not get a lot of exposure, because too often the headlines we see are designed for shock value and the easiest way to capture the attention of an audience is through the income potential. But looking beyond that, if you see someone with passion, you will most likely see someone who is going to be around for quite a while or has already been around for a long time. It is a common denominator that is shared by many of the top Internet Marketing Gurus today and will remain so for a long while to come.

New entrepreneurs who aspire to reach great heights in the Internet Marketing community will do well to recognize and emulate this business model. There is no limit to the amount of ways that someone can make a living online, but if care is taken to choose a topic that is also part of your passion, then the odds of a long and successful career in this business greatly increase.

William

You could give them a hint about it early on then persuade them to read the rest of your ad. The longer they are reading, the better the chance they will buy.

25. The “Leave And Lose” Strategy

The “act now, once you leave this page, you will never see this offer ever again…” strategy tells your prospects that today will be their only chance to order your product. Not tomorrow, not next week, not next month, etc. Most people will think it’s a marketing ploy so just remind them that it’s not. It shows them that you know what they are thinking.

26. The “Success In Common” Strategy

The “people who succeed have one critical thing in common…” strategy tells your prospects they need one crucial thing in order to gain their desired benefit. Of course, you need to persuade them that it is your product. You could tell them that some people have the right attitude but not always the right tools to improve their life.

27. The “Not Much Room” Strategy

The “I only have room on the call for (no.) people and I already gave away (no.) spots before I sent you this…” strategy tells your prospects that they need to register for your teleseminar right away. People will realize they weren’t the first to hear about it and those other people could have told others about it.

28. The “No Recording” Strategy

The “I’m thinking about not recording this free teleconference…” strategy tells your prospects that it’s possible that if they don’t get on the live free call, they may never hear it again. You could also tell them that you may turn it into a paid product later on. People that are interested may want to save some money down the road.

29. The “Enrollment Fee” Strategy

The “we’re completely waiving your enrollment fee and even giving you ($) in bonuses…” strategy tells your prospects that you normally charge people an enrollment fee for your product or membership site. They will feel privileged they don’t have to pay the fee like others have in the past. The extra bonuses will just be icing on the cake.

30. The “Let’s Talk” Strategy

The “I want to talk to you…” strategy tells your prospects that it’s possible your e-mail may be personal because you actually talk with them. People are more persuaded to open an e-mail they think could be personal. You could invite them to be on a teleconference call to tell them about a product you have in the works.
